So I was really anticipative of this contest; I really REALLY wanna see 9. Needless to say, I squee'd a little when I saw this contest. I decided to look at what kind of ocean warfare there may have been in the 9 wars; this guy's a bit of a mixture between a crab (scissors for the claws, ain't I clever?) and a lobster/fish. I kinda wanted to not make them quite as ominous without detracting from how scary they were, so I made him look all horrifying enough, but I thought it'd be funny if he were observing a little fish. I'm pretty fond of the final product; 'bout 12 hrs in SAI, no refs.
